Stories Waiting to Be Told
There's an old saying that life is what happens while you're busy making other plans. As an author, I've discovered that the same applies to writing fiction.
I have more stories waiting to be told than I have hours in the day to write them. Some already have characters, settings, and tentative storylines. Others are little more than intriguing questions that refuse to leave me alone.
Most belong to the Eidelorn Continuum, my interconnected science-fantasy universe spanning millions of years. Others may take me—and my readers—somewhere entirely unexpected.
The projects below offer a glimpse of where I hope to take my writing in the years ahead. They're possibilities, not promises. Titles, characters, storylines, and even the order in which I write them may change as the stories develop.
After all, my characters have a remarkable talent for ignoring my plans.
The future isn't written yet. That's the exciting part.
Expanding the Eidelorn Continuum
Among my upcoming fantasy book series are five planned additions to the Eidelorn Continuum: Lyra's Song, Draco, Moonrise, The Long Road to the Throne, and The Clock-handed Admiral. These stories are still in various stages of planning, and their details may change as they develop. See my Metaverse page for more details.
Continuing Existing Adventures
Fair warning, my characters have a wonderful habit of changing my plans. Here's my my current estimates. As of right now, I currently have three series in production with books still waiting to be written or rewritten. There's at least one more book in the Azure Heroes series, two to three more books in the Becoming Legend series, two books to write and three books to rewrite in The Swarm series (formerly the Nanobots of Greenvale).
Stories Beyond the Continuum
I have ideas for several more books, including historical fiction based on the Old Testament, an introductory nonfiction handbook for people entering the physical security industry, and so forth. They'll appear here as I flesh them out.
