Who is this E.W. Jenner anyway?

About E.W. Jenner

An Author Biography, Written Under Protest by His Characters

Professor Coveland Nocht, The Azure Heroes:

"I have spent considerable time attempting to understand the mind of E.W. Jenner. My conclusion is that he possesses a remarkable imagination, an alarming disregard for the personal safety of his characters, and an unfortunate tendency to complicate perfectly reasonable situations.

"He claims to write science fiction and fantasy. I would argue that he conducts experiments on fictional people and publishes the results."

Lizzy Loren, Becoming Legend:

"Oh, he's a lot of fun. Until he decides you need some character development. Then somebody gets kidnapped, somebody discovers a terrifying secret, and I end up having to figure out how to save everyone.

"On the bright side, he gave me a bow, some extraordinary abilities, and a family worth fighting for. I suppose I can forgive him for the rest. Eventually."

Emma Glover, The Swarm:

"Ed started writing about microscopic machines that could cure diseases. Reasonable enough, right? Then he decided they should become intelligent, develop opinions about human behavior, and start changing civilization.

"He says his stories explore the relationship between humanity and technology. Personally, I think he enjoys asking questions that nobody knows how to answer."

Lyra Iddle-Nocht, Lyra's Song:

"He says he believes in love, family, and personal freedom.

"Then he arranges my marriage to a prince I've barely met and sends me halfway across Castlianova.

"Apparently, irony is another of his literary interests."

A Word from the Author

Since my characters seem determined to make this difficult, perhaps I should introduce myself.

I'm E.W. Jenner, an independent author writing science fiction, epic fantasy, LitRPG progression adventures, and children's literature.

I'm a father of five and grandfather to a wonderfully large and growing family. My love of history, science, mythology, technology, and storytelling has helped shape the fictional worlds I create.

Most of my novels take place within the Eidelorn Continuum, an interconnected literary universe spanning millions of years. Its stories range from experimental nanotechnology on near-future Earth to immersive virtual worlds aboard an interstellar colony ship, and eventually to the distant planet Castlianova, where ancient science and magic have become inseparable.

My books explore adventure, family, friendship, loyalty, freedom, responsibility, and the unexpected consequences of extraordinary possibilities. I enjoy mixing serious questions with humor, romance, and characters who occasionally refuse to cooperate with my plans.

I believe stories should do more than simply fill pages. They should entertain, inspire, make us laugh, and sometimes encourage us to see the world from a different perspective.

And if my characters occasionally complain about the situations I put them in?

Well, that's how I know they're still talking to me.
